Can’t Remember How I’m Kin To Them

While it goes without saying that Christmas is a time for close friends and family, I think Christmas is best experienced as an inclusive celebration.  Some of my fondest memories of Christmas involve stray “extended” friends and family that my very close family would welcome on Christmas day.  For me, a big-tent Christmas is the way to go, and this Robert Earl Keen tune really sums it up well.  (I posted a live version because live on stage is the best way to experience REK, and I think it’s illegal to post the album version.)
